Description: With Grace Akhrem’s help, you will learn how to properly take foot measurements, how to check gauge in the round, and how to do a short row heel and toe. In class, you will follow the pattern provided and will be able to make fitted socks with any weight yarn. By the end of class, you will have a brand new pair of socks!
**HOMEWORK TO DO BEFORE CLASS**
Please make a gauge swatch with chosen yarn in the round before class starts. Students will have additional homework to complete in between sessions as well.

Course Fee: $120 for eight hours of instruction
Please be sure to buy all materials before class begins!
Yarn: Any yarn that is wool and NOT single ply. Fingering weight or larger is best. For those new to making socks, Worsted weight is suggested.
Needles: Same gauge as yarn in DPN or circular (for magic loop or 2 circulars)
Notions: Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
Pattern: Will be provided in class.
