In this class students will learn how to fix mistakes that occurred multiple rows earlier, such as:
incorrectly worked stitches in seed and garter stitch
a k2tog that should have been a ssk, and vice versa.
multiple incorrectly worked stitches in a row.
**Pre-Work: (MUST COMPLETE BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS)**
Please begin by using worsted weight light-colored yarn and appropriately needles to work a swatch as follows:
Row 1: k16, pm, (p1, k1) 8 times
Row 2: (p1, k1) 8 times, sl m, k16.
Rep rows 1 & 2 twice more.
Row 7 (mistake row): (k4, p4) twice, sl m, [k4, (p1, k1) twice] twice. Intentionally introduced mistakes in the pattern are in red.
Row 8: rep Row 2.
Leave live stitches on needle.
Dates: Sunday, September 10 from 2:30pm to 4:30pm
- Yarn: Use a light-colored yarn in worsted or heavy worsted (animal fibers work best)
- Needles: Homework swatch in progress and needles used for swatch, a crochet hook slightly smaller than needle size used for swatch, a short double-point needle slightly smaller than needle size used for swatch (or cable needle instead)Course Fee:
